⚠ BSPT and NPT are similar in appearance

BSPT and NPT are both tapered pipe threads and can look almost identical when measured with calipers. At some sizes the diameter is very close, so thread pitch or equipment origin may be needed to confirm.

Tip: BSPT is common on Australian/European equipment. NPT/NPTF is common on American equipment.
