Warranty & Consumer Guarantees Policy
Hydraulic Konnect supplies products subject to the consumer guarantees and other rights provided under the Australian Consumer Law.
Hydraulic Konnect does not provide a separate fixed-term store warranty unless expressly stated on a particular product.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply independently of any manufacturer warranty or other warranty that may apply to a particular product.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances, products must be of acceptable quality, fit for any disclosed purpose and match their description.
Where a product does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, compensation or other remedy as provided by Australian Consumer Law.
There is no single fixed warranty period that applies to every product. The period during which consumer guarantee rights may apply depends on factors including the type of product, its price, expected durability, how it was represented and how it has been used.
Faulty Product Claims
If you believe a product supplied by Hydraulic Konnect is faulty, defective or does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, contact us at:

For hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical components, we may also request information such as operating pressure, voltage, application, installation details or system conditions where this information is reasonably necessary to assess the cause of the problem.
Product Assessment
Claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We may ask for the product to be returned for inspection or testing where reasonably necessary to determine the nature and cause of the reported issue.
Assessment of a product does not remove or reduce any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
If the product is found not to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, Hydraulic Konnect will provide the remedy required by law based on the circumstances and nature of the failure.
Major & Minor Failures
Where a product has a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, the customer may be entitled to reject the product and choose a refund or replacement, together with any other remedies available under the law.
Where the failure is not major, the supplier generally has an opportunity to provide an appropriate remedy within a reasonable time.
Your specific entitlement will depend on the circumstances of the claim.
Incorrect Installation, Misuse & External Causes
Consumer guarantees do not necessarily provide a remedy where a product problem has been caused by something unrelated to the condition or quality of the product supplied.
This may include, depending on the circumstances:

Use outside the product's stated pressure, temperature, voltage or other operating specifications

Modification or alteration

Physical damage after delivery

Each claim will be considered based on its individual circumstances and nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Product Selection
Customers are responsible for confirming that the product ordered is suitable for their application.
This is particularly important for hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical products where visually similar components may have different:

If you are unsure about product compatibility, we recommend contacting Hydraulic Konnect before ordering.
Incorrect product selection by itself is not considered a product fault.
Returns for incorrectly ordered or change-of-mind products are handled separately under our Refund & Returns Policy and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Installation & Safety
Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components should be installed and used by appropriately competent persons and in accordance with applicable specifications and safety requirements.
Products must not be operated beyond their specified limits.
Where the cause of a failure is uncertain, Hydraulic Konnect may request relevant installation or operating information as part of the assessment.
Return Freight for Faulty Product Claims
Please contact Hydraulic Konnect before returning a product.
We will advise you of the appropriate return process.
Where a product is confirmed to have failed to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, reasonable return or collection costs will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
For change-of-mind or incorrectly ordered products, the customer is responsible for return shipping where a return is approved.
Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may also be covered by a warranty provided by their manufacturer.
Where a manufacturer warranty applies, its terms are additional to and do not replace any rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Unless expressly stated, Hydraulic Konnect does not provide an additional fixed-term warranty beyond applicable consumer guarantee rights.
